Had this installed in October so haven't used it yet. Ran it a little once installed just to make sure it worked and it did. It is much quieter than my old unit. Can't wait to try it next summer.

acwholesalers was very helpfull in getting my ac unit too me and am getting ready too have it installed in a friends home so they have ac which it dosent have now, and got the high effiency 16 seer unit to help with the energy costs.I would recommend acwholesalers to any body looking for heating or ac units /which this is my 2nd purchase with them as I also purchased a high effiency heating unit for my own home which am very satisfied with this is my 2nd year on the heating unit and it does a great job. thanks acwholesalers...

This condenser unit is working well at my house. Have had a few 90+ deg F days, and it keeps my 850 sq. ft. house cool. My house's bricks get hot from the sun, which was making it hard to cool the house with the window unit A/C that I was using, but this new A/C system really keeps the house at a mostly-even 74 deg throughout. This condenser unit is only somewhat loud as it kicks on (makes an abrupt hum that quiets right down within a split second), After that quick startup hum, it's as quiet as a refrigerator. I've only had my A/C going for a month now, but if it keeps working this well for years to come, then I would say this condenser is a good purchase.

Although this unit cools quit well . I find it to be much more noisier then i thought it would be. The charge was exact, did not have to adjust superheat.
I would buy this unit again.

This is a great outdoor unit.
Because it is 16 SEER (Actually comes labeled as 14.7) it is large. I was replacing a 4 ton unit with a 2 ton unit because of insulation and this unit was larger than the old 4 ton unit.
It comes with a filter dryer and soft start capacitor already installed inside the unit, so don't order those.
I set up the unit and had my local AC guys install, it went easy and the new unit is quiet and makes the electric meter my friend. And it still cools the house quickly.
