Overview for Goodman GSZ1436GCVC8080D

A Goodman heat pump and furnace package is the perfect way to upgrade your home's HVAC system. This kit contains a GSZ heat pump with an advanced coil design to maximize efficiency. The heat pump is paired with a two stage GCVC8 furnace equipped with an ECM variable speed motor. This pair was specifically chosen to provide high efficiency comfort, year round. A cased coil and valve kit are included, making this kit an affordable, efficient, whole home solution.
  • Advanced Coil Design
  • The condenser coil of this heat pump is designed with aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing to maximize efficiency. The fins and rifling serve to increase surface area, allowing the heat transfer capabilities of the materials to shine.
  • SmartShift
  • Goodman's SmartShift technology, combined with ambient and coil temperature sensors, gives this unit a quiet and effective defrost system. SmartShift also helps to prevent short-cycling, increasing the efficiency of defrost operations.
  • High-Efficiency Compressor
  • This unit utilizes a high-efficiency scroll compressor to provide refrigerant flow. Scroll compressors are renowned for operating more smoothly and reliably than traditional compressors.
  • All-Aluminum Coil
  • Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
  • Condensate Management
  • The included coil features foil-faced insulation to inhibit the formation of condensate and a rust-resistant thermoplastic drain pan to capture what does form, keeping your system safe and operational.
  • Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
  • The GCVC80 furnace employs a reliable heavy-duty tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability and longevity.
  • Variable Speed ECM Motor
  • The GCVC80 features an efficient and quiet variable speed motor that ramps up or down according to the heating or cooling demand, providing accurate temperature control and keeping money spent on utility bills in your pocket.
  • Quiet Comfort
  • The blower and the gas valve of the GCVC80 were selected for their incredibly low sound levels. Additionally, this unit offers an airflow system and fan speed options that allow it to operate quietly while providing consistent comfort.
  • ComfortBridge Technology
  • The included furnace is equipped with Goodman's ComfortBridge technology that continuously monitors system performance for customized indoor comfort.
  • Extended Warranty
  • Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
  • Product Note
The recommended line set size for this system will vary based on the length of line set you require for installation. Compatible line sets can be found under the "Recommended Accessories" tab. | The US Department of Energy regulates minimum efficiency standards for central air conditioners and heat pumps based on geographic regions. We are required to abide by these regulations when selling products, and take this responsibility seriously. The standards depend on the rated efficiency of the entire system, not the nominal efficiencies of individual components. If you are unsure if your system will be compliant, please call or email us for help. NOTE: Due to DOE regulations, as of January 1st this unit can no longer be installed in the southwest and southeast DOE regions.
