Replaced a larger 18500 220V Air/Heat unit with this 12000 BTU one, and this thing cranks out some serious air, certainly blows and circulates air much better than my major brand one ever did, not to mention the room actually gets frigid now in the hot humid Florida summer now. Haven't been able to test the heat yet, but I'm sure it'll suffice for those 40F nights. You have to be careful with the 'automatic' setting though, if you have it on cool and switch to automatic, the heater might come on. I suspect it would resume cooling after a bit though, just that the temperature in the room was much lower thanks to the cool air that it thought it was cold enough for heat. The Energy Saver features and automatic fan speeds certainly seem to work much better than my old unit as well, they actually keep the room a respectable temperature. Without the feeling of having to find the sweet spot of not having any air circulate or it being too stuffy. Its been going strong for a month now in temperatures of excess of 100F in the late afternoon. Would Highly recommend. Your Wallet and Comfort will thank you.
