This ceiling cassette ductless heat pump system pairs a powerful LMU243HV outdoor condenser with very efficient ceiling cassette indoor units. LG's Multi F ceiling cassette indoor units feature four air outlets which allow them to provide consistent air flow to the farthest reaches of large rooms. In addition to providing excellent coverage, the ceiling cassette indoor units also feature an exceptionally low profile. When installed, a grille less than 1" thick is the only visible clue that your room is receiving efficient heating and cooling from a ductless heat pump system.
Inverter Technology
LG's multi-zone outdoor condensers are designed with powerful, efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed condenser compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption.
Gold Fin Protection
To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LMU243HV's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
Quiet Design
Thanks to a brushless direct current fan motor, both the outdoor and indoor units in this system produce less mechanical and electrical noise, allowing them to provide comfort that doesn't disrupt your home.
Jet Cool
These LG mini split indoor units feature a Jet Cool operation mode for rapid cooling. In this mode, an indoor unit observes a set point of 64 degrees Fahrenheit while the fan operates at maximum speed for 30 minutes to quickly cool your zone.
Swirl Wind Mode
Exclusive to ceiling cassette models is Swirl Wind, which automates both air flow direction and fan speed to produce steady comfort throughout any zone.
Improved Air Quality
These mini split indoor units include anti-fungal filters to keep your air clean. These filters capture contaminants like dust and bacteria, and they are washable to ensure long term air quality.
Dehumidify
LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
Hot Start
When the hot start function is enabled on a mini split indoor unit, the fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
Supply Air Branch Duct Connections
LG cassette units feature designated cutouts for a branch duct, giving you the ability to duct up to 1/2 of the unit's airflow capacity to adjacent spaces.
