I purchased the LG 12,000 BTU 11.3 EER Window Air Conditioner with Heat 208/230V mid August. It seemed to cool the downstairs after running it for several hours the first two days, but not better than the 5,000 BTU unit that it replaced. Two days later, it began to blow warm and has been that way since. ACW customer service does not take responsibility, and told me I had to contact LG. I am still waiting and hoping LG will send a technician, but no one has mentioned replacing it with one that works and it's been a hot summer!! I received nothing but hot air and a heavy load for $500!
